Das Geheimnis einer guten Uhr ist nicht, dass sie schnell, sondern dass sie richtig geht. Damit sie aber auch die Chance hat richtig zu gehen, braucht sie in regelmässigen Abständen den prüfenden Blick des Uhrmachers und gegebenenfalls einen Service.

PFLEGETIPPS SCHMUCK UND PERLEN

Gold- und Diamantschmuck können mit einer weichen Bürste (beispielsweise mit einer alten Zahnbürste) mit warmem Wasser und etwas Seife gereinigt werden. Das Gleiche gilt für Schmuck mit Farbedelsteinen wie Saphir, Rubin und Smaragd. Bei manchen Farbsteinen ist allerdings Vorsicht geboten. Bringen Sie im Zweifel den Schmuck ins Fachgeschäft, wo er im Ultraschall gereinigt und wenn nötig aufpoliert wird. Sie werden staunen, wie schön Ihr Schmuck wieder glänzt! Auch die Fassungen sollten von Zeit zu Zeit überprüft werden.

UHRENPFLEGE

Ihre Uhr ist täglich den verschiedensten Belastungen ausgesetzt. Eine regelmässige Revision ist deshalb unserlässlich. Wir empfehlen unseren Kundinnen und Kunden, die Uhr jährlich zur Kontrolle und alle vier Jahre zur Revision vorbeizubringen. Wenn Sie Ihre Uhr im Wasser tragen, sollten Sie die Wasserdichtigkeit mindestens einmal pro Jahr, idealerweise vor der Badesaison, testen lassen. Dieser Test wird in wenigen Minuten durchgeführt und kann schwerwiegende Folgen verhindern.
